Lemur BeadsTM
are hand made from Italian Glass in a
stone cottage near Mineral Point,
Wisconsin. This process involves melting
and manipulating glass in the flame from
an Oxygen/Propane torch. Historically this
kind of torch is called a "lamp." Hence,
the making of small objects in a torch
flame is called "Lampworking."

Trained as an abstract expressionist, I
am interested in the properties of scale,
color, shape, light and paint application.
Feeling the need to be able to draw better
I took many drawing classes until I was
able to capture a realistic image on the
paper. Currently I am concerned with
balancing recognizable images that
interest me with an expressionistic
approach to the way light and color play
on these subjects. I continue to be
interested in a wide range of subjects
painted on a large scale in order to
express my feelings and observations about
them. I continue to strive for a balance
of realism and expressionism in my
work.

Handspun Woolen/Knit/Felted
Garments/Accessories: Hats, handbags, etc.
Unique novelty yarns and unusual dying
techniques provide original flares to
traditional clothing items.
Woven: Rugs, wood caddies, wall
hangings. Generations of Swedish
craftsmanship and weaving techniques
culminate in the construction of our rugs.
We use traditional accent stripes with
contemporary fabrics and color schemes to
modernize our rugs and wood caddies.
